What’s changed?
Even though I’m now the most settled I’ve been life-wise/house-wise/job-wise, I feel more financial pressure this year than I have in any other year in recent memory.
The cost of living crisis has taken away any relaxed approach I had to spending money. Although the food shop has never really been fun for me, it really isn’t fun anymore. I’m trying to make more conscious decisions because freezer food is so much cheaper but it doesn’t give me anywhere near the energy that making a salmon risotto does.
