What’s changed?

Substack is what’s changed - and so the dynamics of my finances.

The bulk of my earnings used to be through The Shift podcast sponsorship and advertising (i.e. precarious), books (i.e. non-existent and getting worse) and chairing events (ditto).

What Substack has enabled me to do is reduce my dependence on those things. I’ve been on Substack 18 months and it now makes up just over half my earnings.
