Love this - so true. "And in a society that’s hyper focussed on materialism, it’s easy to overlook the experiential, security, and spiritual aspects of what money can do for you..."
Love the interviews you linked above, Keris. Everything Dana Miranda writes hits me in an uncomfortable way and I think it's because it's pushing for unlearning of so many money ideas, so I love that.
Also, my favourite thing about this whole post is the Noodles reference. GO NOODLES!!
It's like I have to prep myself emotionally for reading a Dana piece. Even though what she's telling me is to shed the shame and that it's not my fault. There's definitely a psychology themed essay in there about why being told to drop the shame is more triggering than being berated.
Nooooooooooooooooodles (how am I going to concentrate on my work day now when all I can think about is Noodles 😂😂)

Yes!!
So simple but so easily overlooked. Thanks Nicola!

Totally agree re Dana. Her book made me sit up like a meerkat so many times because so much of what she writes about feels radical but shouldn’t be!
I knew you’d love the Noodles ref 😂♥️
